Orbea MX 24 Team-Disc 2019 (24 in)

Our custom Orbea MX 24 Team Disc is for sale because it has been outgrown. It comes in an exceptionally attractive matte black-and-orange color scheme. It is most likely a 2019 model that has been extensively upgraded to reduce weight and better suit young, lighter riders.

Instead of the heavy stock configuration, the bike now weighs approximately 8,5 kg, which makes a real difference on a kids bike, especially when accelerating and climbing. Also suitable for potential XC racing.

The key components replaced during the build are:
• carbon rigid front fork,
• carbon handlebar,
• lighter wheels,
• lighter saddle,
• Shimano XT rear derailleur and shifter,
• shorter stem,
• XLC pedals
• brake rotors

For a lighter rider who mostly rides on asphalt, gravel and normal forest trails, a rigid fork is the most sensible choice: it saves weight and requires no suspension maintenance.

BIKE CONDITION
The bike is in excellent condition, almost like new, ridden carefully and maintained regularly. During the season, it was used no more than once a week, while the child used another bike for daily rides. It was stored indoors, used mainly in good weather and maintained diligently.

SIZE AND ADJUSTMENT
Suitable for a child approximately 135–155 cm tall, depending on proportions and leg length. The geometry is suitable for a young rider, while the 152 mm crank arms, shorter stem (50 mm) and narrower handlebar (555 mm) provide a more tailored riding position.
Despite its simplicity, the saddle is comfortable and was chosen with low weight in mind. A taller child, especially one over approximately 150 cm, will need a longer seatpost. The minimum saddle height is approximately 67 cm, measured from the ground to the top of the saddle.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS
• The original fork, handlebar and stem are also included.
• The front tire is approximately 20 % worn, while the rear is approximately 80 % worn and will need replacement sooner.
• The tires have inner tubes.
• The Garmin mount shown in the photos is not included in the sale.
